About the Journal

Mangaji Journal of Islamic Literacy is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to advancing research on Islamic literacy in its broadest sense—Qur’anic literacy, religious reading and writing practices, digital and media literacy, and literacy education in Muslim communities. The journal welcomes interdisciplinary perspectives that connect Islamic tradition with contemporary literacy challenges, policies, and pedagogical innovations across diverse social and cultural contexts.
